Author's Profile
Ms. Cheryl Ann Gajadhar
have been serving the Lord Jesus
Christ for many years, a lovely, young
lady, with a strong personality and a
passion for life. Cheryl Ann has a
great love for people, with a burning
desire as well as an anointing on her
life that can transformed and inspire
others to the Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ.
Cheryl Ann a proud citizen of the
Republic of the
Trinidad and Tobago,
a past resident / student of the St
Mary’s Home and their school; St. Mary’s
AC Primary School. Ms. Gajadhar
also attended
Mt.
Hope
Junior
Secondary
School and
St. Augustine
Senior
Comprehensive
School.
The Girl In The Cupboard is a touching
story. This, the first of Ms. Gajadhar’s
published works, is an autobiographical
portrayal of her life from childhood to
adulthood. Her experience runs the gamut
of abuse with its attendant ills:
insecurity, loneliness, self-doubt,
self-hate, confusion and impaired
choices. Nevertheless, punctuated
throughout is the definite hand of an
all-seeing God Who, at the end of the
day, leads Annie (the protagonist) in
triumphant procession.
The world of The Girl In The Cupboard
begins in sadness but ends with a song
of faith. It is the heart-warming
testimony of a child who, in time,
bravely jumps out of the limiting
confines of cupboards into the maelstrom
of the present world with a clear and
confident message of hope and
deliverance that is sure to touch the
hearts of many
